LOVE The phrase, “And to brotherly kindness charity,” should have been translated “love,” for the Greek word is “agape.” This is the Divine Love which God is as to His nature, which is produced in the heart of the yielded Believer by the Holy Spirit, and which impels him to deny himself for the benefit of the one loved. The idea of all of this is, everything necessary to life and Godliness has been provided. If it is to be noticed, the first and last links in this golden chain are faith and love.
